Chae Seo-eun was born on October 23, 1998, in South Korea. She grew up alongside an older sister and younger brother.
She completed her schooling at Wolgot Middle School and Siheung High School before studying acting at the Korea National University of Arts.
Career
Chae Seo-eun entered professional acting in 2020, making her screen debut as Hong-yeon in tvN’s historical comedy Mr. Queen. She also appeared in the film Good Deal, playing Ye-ji.
Chae Seo-eun continued developing her television career in 2022, appearing as Kim Su-jin in JTBC’s Forecasting Love and Weather.
She followed this by playing Park Hee-jin in the 2023 series High Cookie. Her film work also expanded through the 2024 short film How to Open the Door, in which she portrayed Ha-neul.
In 2025, Chae Seo-eun appeared as Jo A-ra in the 16-episode U+ Mobile TV series Friendly Rivalry.
Her career continued into 2026 through the science-fiction thriller film Colony, where she is credited as Female Bully.
