Irina Artenii was born on June 25, 1998, in Drochia, Moldova. During high school, she participated in the Brainstorming theatre troupe.
She began studying at the University of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in 2017 and subsequently pursued professional theatre and screen acting in Romania.
Career
Irina Artenii began her acting career in 2015, appearing in the short film Vedem atâtea nenorociri că asta pare în plus.
She later earned a role as Laura in the Romanian drama One Step Behind the Seraphim, directed by Daniel Sandu.
Irina Artenii expanded her international screen work by appearing as Irina in the science-fiction thriller Voyagers, directed by Neil Burger and starring Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp, Fionn Whitehead, and other international performers.
