Irish Women In Harmony is a collaborative collective and supergroup of Irish female artists and musicians rather than a fixed band with permanent members. Launched in 2020 by singer-songwriter and producer RuthAnne Cunningham the project brings together dozens of Ireland’s most talented women in music to create charity singles live performances and community initiatives.
The collective focuses on supporting one another creatively while raising awareness and funds for women and children experiencing domestic abuse through Safe Ireland.

Formation
Formed in 2020 by RuthAnne Cunningham during the first COVID-19 lockdown. Over 40 Irish female artists came together remotely to record a charity cover of The Cranberries’Dreams in support of Safe Ireland. The project evolved into a broader community for women in Irish music promoting collaboration visibility and practical support.
Career
The collective debuted with the chart-topping charity single Dreams (2020) followed by Nothing Compares 2 U (tribute to Sinéad O’Connor) Only a Woman and the Christmas song Together at Christmas (in aid of ISPCC). They have performed on The Late Late Show at the National Concert Hall and at major venues like the 3Olympia Theatre.
A vinyl release of Dreams was pressed with proceeds to charity. In 2025–2026 they continue with live concerts featuring rotating lineups and maintain their mission of supporting women in music while fundraising for domestic abuse services.
