Early life and education
Marcuz Jess Petersen was born on May 24, 1998, in Skibby, Denmark. He began acting at the age of 12, when he auditioned for Klovn – The Movie.
His uncle happened to notice the casting advertisement in a newspaper and encouraged him to audition.
Petersen ultimately won the role of Bo after competing with more than 600 boys.
Career
Marcuz Jess Petersen made his acting debut in 2010 as Bo in Klovn – The Movie. The role became his breakthrough performance. In 2011 he won the Zulu Award for Best Male Supporting Actor for his work in the film.
He subsequently appeared as Allan in Antboy (2013) and returned for Antboy II: Revenge of the Red Fury (2014).
He also played Gustav in The Detectives (Detektiverne) and reprised his role as Bo in Klovn Forever (2015).
Marcuz Jess Petersen continued his acting career with appearances in Team Albert as Toke, Klovn the Final as Bo, and Druk as a high-school student.
